We made it to INDIANA!

As I type this entry from the hallway of the church in North Webster, IN, I hear giggles as students are trying to settle into their sleeping bags of the activity room where we will call home for the night.

After our 14 hour drive, we have a new appreciation for the size of Chicago and the peoples daily commute! Wow was that a long portion of our day! However, after many walkie talkie conversations and code names, the endless amount of snacks consumed, and the many conversations and giggles, we are all exhausted and ready for a little leg room.

Once leaving the vast city of Chicago, we drove for 2.5 hours through beautiful countryside with dairy farms, great oak trees and small towns. We enjoyed the beautiful and simple scenery. The highlight of the beauty was seeing the huge moon climb over the horizon.

God has given us patience, safety, and a smooth trip thus far. His faithfulness and guidance has been among us.  I am eager to see what he has in store tomorrow.

With anticipation,
Amanda
